Our case was bit special – SMSF amount was low, it was challenging to find a lender who would lend us at 80% lvr with no liquidity requirements. Ankur understood our situation and combed through the lenders who would lend us. Not to mention, he went one step ahead to check what type of security is accepted by lenders and in which location.

Once lender was shortlisted, we went in the market to procure a property. Another challenge we faced was to get a quick approval from the lender, as we were going on preplanned cruise with limited Internet access. Ankur swing into action once again, he somehow managed to get the approval within a week (probably less than that). Seasoned property investors would know SMSF approval takes time due to its complex structure and regulations around it. The quick approval allowed us to enjoy our holidays to the fullest without worrying about the property lending.
