We have proven to build a successful operation with a network of Mortgage Brokers spread across Australia and are committed to ambitious goals for continued growth and improvement.

Our internal team and the contribution of each Mortgage broker have mutually benefitted growth in knowledge and revenue. The team is nurtured to embrace logical thinking to identify realistic solutions. The industry has witnessed the introduction of many new technologies and solutions, of which few are beneficial. Our team analyses the latest changes and challenges from all angles and develops strategies that lead to the most effective outcomes for our Mortgage brokers. Our business model is designed to be straightforward and affordable, making it accessible to both new entrants and experienced Mortgage Brokers. We provide the tools and resources to streamline operations and reduce costs, allowing Mortgage Brokers to focus on growth and client satisfaction.

We work closely with our Mortgage Brokers to explore new opportunities and strategies that can help them double their revenue. By offering strategic guidance and leveraging our industry expertise, we enable Mortgage Brokers to achieve significant financial success.

Our team continues exploring third-party vendors to partner with for new software and other solutions, coaching, business referrals, and revenue opportunities. This helps our Mortgage Brokers save time while providing them with valuable resources.

New to the Industry

We have perfected cost-effective methods to help new Mortgage Brokers settle in and establish themselves quickly as independent brokers.

Many Mortgage Brokers have moved from other aggregators and haven’t had much success with their business. Our intensive training and robust internal support have accelerated their revenues since joining Smartfinn Advisors.

One of the main challenges for part-time Mortgage Brokers is availability during standard working hours (9 am—5 pm). We’ve addressed this by offering cost-effective virtual assistance and in-house application processing, making it easier for them to manage their business.

Enhancing touchpoints with their client base through multiple administrative support channels has been a key success factor for our senior Mortgage Brokers. Our internal team handles the training of admin staff, saving Mortgage Brokers valuable time and effort.

The Beginning

Smartfinn Advisors was founded with a clear vision: to provide a boutique model that offers personalised support and practical solutions for Mortgage Brokers. Recognising the gap in the market for a holistic approach, our management team, comprising experienced professionals from diverse industries, came together to create an organisation focused on empowering Mortgage Brokers with the skills and knowledge needed to build successful businesses. For the first year, we started with a small team of 1 Mortgage broker and two support team members.

2018
Ongoing Improvement

Our priority has always been staying ahead of industry trends and adopting best practices within and outside the mortgage broking sector. As we continued to grow, we intensified our research efforts, constantly seeking innovative solutions and refining our methods. This commitment to continuous improvement kept us on our toes and ensured that we provided the most effective support to our Mortgage Brokers. By 2020, the company had grown to a team of 5 Mortgage Brokers and 3 support team members.

2020
Special Approvals and Licenses

In 2022, we achieved a significant milestone by obtaining special approvals and licenses to create our Australian Credit License (ACL). This development allowed Mortgage Brokers to join Smartfinn Advisors with the assurance of complete independence and flexibility. This approach enables us to provide operational flexibility and cater to the unique needs and preferences of our growing network of Mortgage Brokers. Smartfinn Advisors and its Mortgage Brokers won many awards this year and were recognised as Asia Pacific's best-emerging mortgage brokerage company. By 2022, the company had grown to 17 mortgage brokers and six support team members.

2022
 Continuous Growth

After six years in the industry, Smartfinn Advisors has grown to include over 25 Mortgage Brokers who work alongside 11 support staff. This milestone reflects our commitment to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where Mortgage Brokers can thrive. Our expanding network is a testament to the success of our holistic approach and personalised support. Each Mortgage broker in our network benefits from the independence our Australian Credit License (ACL) provides and the continuous professional development opportunities we offer. Smartfinn Advisors has expanded its back office operations to India under the name Smartfinn Solutions Pvt Ltd, and our team in India continues to support our mortgage brokers in Australia.

In 2024, we continue to build on our success by further enhancing our services and support systems. We aim to empower even more Mortgage Brokers to achieve their full potential and create prosperous, sustainable businesses. We remain dedicated to providing resources, training, and mentorship to ensure our Mortgage Brokers can navigate the competitive mortgage broking industry with confidence and expertise.
